Not many people know that there are actually websites providing this service for free. Well! Here's a website I would recommend: VidToMP3.

It's very useful when you just want so badly the audio version of a piece performed by a YouTube user. Maybe, like a clear cover version of songs or instrumental pieces done by YouTube users.

This website is the ideal website for this sevice.

All you have to do is just type in the URL of the YouTube video and select the type of quality you want for the song.

The website then checks the link of the video. After the link is being checked, click on another link which says "Download MP3". After clicking on it it will direct you to a new page which will ask you to press the button "Download MP3".

Next, the download window will pop out. Be sure to rename the song before downloading. If you had not done so, you can always rename later.

Press "Save" and select the location you want the MP3 file to be saved in. Voila! Now you have the MP3 piece in your hands.

The website discourages piracy though. If you would like to convert a music video to a music file, you could still do so, but do support the singer or band by buying their songs legally if you really like them! Show your support!

It creates less hassle and is faster and easier to use than VidToMp3, yet VidToMp3 provides this service to a wider range of websites as compared to Video2mp3. If you're looking for less hassle and higher speed with little ads, go for Video2mp3. But if you're using websites other than Youtube, then go for VidToMp3.
